This page explains how to delete your SwingSpeak account and the data associated with it. There are two ways to do it:

In the app — Settings → Account → Delete Account. This happens immediately and is the fastest route.
By email — write to hello@swingspeak.app from the email address on your account. Use this if you no longer have the app or cannot sign in. We complete these requests within 30 days.

Either way, your personal information (name, email) is permanently deleted, and your swing and session data is anonymized so it is no longer linked to you.

1. Delete Your Account in the App

If you still have SwingSpeak installed and can sign in, this is the fastest way:

Open SwingSpeak
Go to Settings
Tap Account
Tap Delete Account and confirm

Deletion takes effect immediately. You do not need to contact us.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you have uninstalled the app, lost or replaced your device, or can no longer sign in, email us instead:

Email: hello@swingspeak.app

Subject: Delete my account

Send your request from the email address associated with your SwingSpeak account, so we can confirm the account is yours. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we act on it.

We complete account deletion requests received this way within 30 days.

3. What Is Deleted and What Is Kept

When your account is deleted, by either route:

Your personal information (name, email) is immediately and permanently deleted
Your swing and session data is anonymized (no longer linked to your identity)
Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research, benchmarking, and product improvement
You can sign up again with a fresh account at any time

Anonymized data cannot be used to identify you. It helps us improve SwingSpeak for all users.

4. Before You Delete

Deleting your account cannot be undone, and a new account starts empty — your previous sessions will not be restored. If you want to keep a copy of your training history, export it from the app before you delete the account: Settings → Account → Export My Data. The export is only available while you are still signed in, so take it first if you intend to use it.
